Executive Support Group

The Executive Support Group is responsible for:

• Providing executive and secretarial services and administrative support to the Secretary and Deputy Secretaries of the Department. This includes public relations.
• Providing administrative and logistical support to the executive management.
• Providing research and economic policy advice to the executive management. This activity maintains up to date knowledge of economic and fiscal situation, research issues and provide timely advice and prepare policy briefs.
• Assisting with the management and provision of services to the department and clients. This includes regular monitoring and reporting of performance against management plans and budget.
• Running the executive office.
